3,454 metres (11,332 feet) above sea level, ice-cold wind, masses of snow and mountain peaks as far as the eye can see: the Jungfraujoch has always been fascinating with its beauty and a certain feeling of freedom. Equally fascinating is the fact that the Jungfrau railway goes right to the top – not on a cable but on rails. The terminal is the highest railway station in Europe and is therefore appropriately named “Top of Europe”. And that’s precisely where REGUPOL everroll alpine winter sports floors have been installed..

Colour scheme adapted to customer wishes.
We were able to work closely with the interior design office on this project. The planners had precise ideas about the colour concept. That's why REGUPOL everroll mycreation was used - the customer presents their wishes and we work with them to develop the right colour combination. Five prototypes were produced before the decision was made.
The floor design in the Top of Europe shop is a visual highlight: An airbrush artist sprayed rails onto our grey floor covering. The challenge was to find a compatible and durable colour.
Our beige REGUPOL everroll alpin floor covering in the Lindt Shop fitted in with the colour concept. It harmonises well with the furniture and the dark wall design. The Lindt shop is located in the Grindelwald terminal, surrounded by other shops and the entrances to the cable cars. Our floors may look good, but they can also withstand a lot of wear and tear. They are robust, impact sound-absorbing and durable as well as shock and impact resistant.
The keyword is comfort
The Grindelwald terminal is the starting point of the V-Cableway. While the Männlichen Railway ends on the mountain of the same name, visitors are not necessarily at the end of their journey after travelling on the ultra-modern Eiger Express. The Jungfrau Railway takes guests from the Eiger Glacier station all the way to the top - to the Top of Europe. The entire project combines state-of-the-art technology, efficiency and comfort for visitors. The Eiger Express transports passengers in record time - up to 47 minutes faster than before - and is also fully equipped. WiFi, heated seats and information screens are available in every gondola.
Our REGUPOL everoll winter sports flooring is also comfortable in shops and walkways. Thanks to its elasticity, it invites you to linger, is easy on the joints and reduces impact noise. The in-house ski depot was also fitted with REGUPOL. Thanks to its non-slip surface, our floor covering minimises the risk of slipping - even in wet areas. It is pleasantly warm to the feet, which means even more comfort for guests. This means they can walk comfortably on the floor barefoot or in ski socks.
In total, we supplied over 6,000 square metres of REGUPOL everroll winter sports flooring for this exceptional project.
