The Blue wonder of berlin: the regupol running track
It has become a symbol of athletics in Berlin, in Germany and in Europe: the blue running track in Berlin's Olympic Stadium. Built in 1936, it can look back on more than 80 years of sporting history, at that time on ash, since 2004, competitions have been held on the blue REGUPOL athletic track. The special feature is the blue surface, which forms a design unit with the grey ancillary areas. A total of 9,100 m² of REGUPOL synthetic flooring was installed in Berlin.
During the 2009 World Championships, Usain Bolt ran his still untouched world records over 100 and 200 m on this blue athletic track. Convinced of the REGUPOL quality, Bolt became our advertising partner just one year later. To this day this contract is valid and the top athlete is still enthusiastic about REGUPOL. Since the beginning of the cooperation, we have installed more than seven synthetic athletic tracks in Jamaica.
The blue running track at Berlin's Olympic Stadium is still a flagship for REGUPOL and was the beginning for the advance of blue synthetic running tracks in stadiums and on sports fields worldwide.

REGUPOL also performs at Munich's Olympic Stadium
Exactly 50 years after the Summer Olympics, the European Championships in nine sports were held in August 2022 at the same venue: The Olympic Stadium in Munich. All athletics events took place on a brand new REGUPOL synthetic athletic track. Our know-how and decades of experience in sports floor construction tipped the balance in favour of building 8,500 m² of our synthetic floors in Munich.
At its debut during the European Athletics Championships 2022, it became apparent that this REGUPOL athletic track also prepares the ground for records.
