Franklin and Marshall College
Outdoor Running Track
The Franklin & Marshall College athletics department years ago invested in a new International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) certified outdoor running rack by REGUPOL. Years of tough Northeast conditions and regular use by Franklin & Marshall students, as well as the Lancaster County community, have not threatened the track's ability to perform–even after 23 years. Periodic inspection and testing have proved the track to be in tip-top shape; only the top surface was in need of updating in 2013. On average, running tracks need to be fully stripped and resurfaced after 10 to 15 years. The longevity of REGUPOL champion AG is a testament to the quality of our track systems.
“This track has proven its value year after year,” says Ted Schmid, director of grounds at Franklin & Marshall College, part of the team that originally selected the REGUPOL champion AG track. “Our athletes benefit from the durability and integrity that the REGUPOL track provides each and every day.”
