Texas Tech - Volleyball
United Supermarkets Arena | Lubbock, TX
Texas Tech Volleyball has invested in its athletes’ development with a dedicated strength and conditioning facility located inside the United Supermarkets Arena, creating a singular home for everything Red Raider Volleyball—from training to practice to game day. Volleyball players rely on explosive jumps, powerful swings, and quick lateral movement, and those skills are built in the weight room long before game day. This reimagined training and performance space reflects the university’s dedication to empowering Red Raider volleyball athletes with a competitive home-court edge.
The facility features REGUPOL aktivpro roll high-performance rubber flooring, engineered to handle heavy training volume and protect both athletes and equipment. Its superior shock absorption and traction make it ideal for strength work, plyometric drills, and conditioning sessions. To further enhance performance, custom REGUPOL crash platforms are seamlessly inlaid into the floor, creating safe, impact-ready zones for Olympic lifts and explosive training. This thoughtful integration eliminates trip hazards and supports a smooth, efficient workout space.
By combining advanced flooring systems with a space built specifically for the volleyball program, Texas Tech has created a facility that not only prepares athletes physically but also reinforces program pride. The volleyball strength and conditioning center sets a new standard for collegiate volleyball training, showing how the right environment can drive performance, reduce injuries, and help athletes reach their full potential. With its proven durability, safety, and performance, REGUPOL flooring provides the foundation that makes this level of training possible—supporting Red Raider Volleyball today and for seasons to come.
